If you are a personal customer, or sell regularly on marketplaces, you can continue to use two ways of paying for your parcels and letters postage from 7 April 2026.
 
1. Prices for parcels and letters with postage paid through Royal Mail Click & Drop® and online partner agents can be found in the Royal Mail Our Online Prices guide. This guide contains online prices for Royal Mail's UK and International parcels including Standard Tracked, Tracked & Signed, Signed and Guaranteed delivery services. View or download a copy now. These prices are effective from 7 April 2026.

 
2. Prices for stamped parcels and letters, and those paid over the counter at a Post Office® branch are found in the Our Prices guide. You can view or download a copy of this guide to our UK and International parcel and letter services, including Parcelforce Worldwide, online. Alternatively, you can pick up a copy from your local Post Office® branch.

Prices are changing for Royal Mail Franking from 7 April 2026

  • USO Account Letters (1st Class and 2nd Class)
  • Royal Mail Advertising Mail: 1st Class, plus 2nd Class Standard Unsorted (codes: CLN) for lowest volumes only
  • Royal Mail Business Mail: 1st Class, plus selected 2nd Class as follows
    • Manual Low Sort (code: LOI) for lowest volumes only

Price changes for Surcharges and Correction Charges from 7 April 2026

Some of our surcharges and correction charges will be changing on 7 April 2026 and can be found via royalmail.com/surcharges. In the future we plan to advise customers of new surcharge rates via the surcharge web page rather than by personal letter, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions. Please make sure you visit this web page regularly to ensure that you are always completely up to date with our latest rates.

Prices apply to all drops taking place on or after 30 March 2026.

The Door to Door Booking system will open on 5 January to bookings for drops w/c 30 March until w/c 7 December 2026.

Price changes from 5 January 2026

 
From 5 January 2026, our Fuel Surcharge will be redefined as the Fuel and Energy Surcharge, and the rate will change from 8% to 11% to reflect our fuel and energy-related costs. Full details are available at: royalmail.com/business/mail/surcharges. All necessary amendments will be made to the General Terms and Conditions to reflect the change in name.
