Business Redirection
If you are moving from one business premises to the next or if your business is closing temporarily or permanently. We’ll help get your important mail delivered to your preferred address for less that £1.72 a day*.
Your customers and suppliers need to reach you and invoices, new orders, customer correspondence and employee documents must keep getting through, so you don’t miss an important communication.
You can trust us to help you get all your mail. Whether you’re switching offices temporarily or permanently, the Business Redirection service means that your customers and partners can follow you wherever you go.
A Business Redirection is suitable for businesses where the whole business is moving and businesses that are not located in a multi-occupancy building (more than one business to a single delivery point). If you are located in a multi-occupancy building or only part of your business is moving the Business Diversion service will ensure your mail follows you where you go.
We will do our very best to get your Redirection set up as soon as possible, though it could take as long as five working days. Please make sure we’re aware of all the different organisation names you want covered by your Redirection. Also include abbreviations e.g. Royal Mail – RM. If you don’t, some mail may continue to be delivered to your original business address. Apply for a Business Redirection online by clicking the button below or alternatively contact your Royal Mail Account Manager.

*You will need to log in to your royalmail.com account first to renew. Please have to hand the letter we have sent you about renewing your Business Redirection, which contains your renewal code and unique PIN code.
Business Diversion
If only part of your Business is moving or you are in a multi-occupancy building (more than one business to a single delivery point), the Business Diversion service will ensure your mail moves with you, temporarily or permanently.
Setting up a Diversion will help us divert your important mail to any UK address. Setting up a Diversion prevents your mail from being left for a long period of time and avoids the risk of theft and identity fraud. We will get it set up for you as soon as we can, so you will get your mail fast, as it will be dealt with as first class. You also won’t have to leave your home as the mail will come straight to your door, which is extra peace of mind if you are self-isolating. Diversions are available for 3, 6 and 12 months and if your business has fewer than 50 employees, you can apply for a Small Business Diversion.

Your Business Redirection can be set up for less than 3 months but this is the minimum payment length. So if you're returning to the address in less than 3 months - that's fine we'll cancel at your requested date, but you'll be charged for 3.
If your business is known by different names, you'll need to pay for each of these. You will also need to include any abbreviations of each individual business name, otherwise some of your mail may still go to the old address
