It’s nearly Christmas, and we know you want to make sure that your letter to Santa Claus gets to him. Santa is as excited about Christmas as we are — read on to find out how to write to Santa. Make sure your letter reaches me by Thursday 30 November and don't forget your stamp!

Santa’s list is very long, and it can take up to 10 days for his letter to reach you. If you can’t wait, or it is taking longer, please download the card he’ll send you herepdf, 5.53 MB.

Dear Children,

Are you looking forward to Christmas this year? I certainly am! Christmas is a very exciting but busy time for me.

The elves are busy making toys

The reindeer are practising their sleigh runs

And I'm busy preparing my list of who's been good.

I will be getting my sleigh ready for the long journey on Christmas Eve. In between I will try and reply to as many of you as possible.

Braille replies can be arranged by customers emailing santamail@royalmail.com or by writing to the usual address.

Please make sure you

  • Write Santa’s address carefully on the envelope

  • Put a stamp on the envelope so it gets to Santa

  • Include your full name and address in your letter

  • I’ll be replying to as many of your letters as I am able to from Monday 20 November; but there are a lot of you, so your letter needs to reach the North Pole by Thursday 30 November.
