With over 80 years combined experience, Pharmacy2U helps patients with their questions and prescriptions on a daily basis, sending over 500,000 prescription items each month across the UK. Pharmacy2U is a private business contracted by the NHS to dispense medicine prescribed by your GP.
Yes. We cover the cost of our service features, including delivery, to ensure our service is FREE.
If you usually pay for your NHS prescriptions, you will still need to pay the normal NHS fee (which is £9.35 per item). If you are exempt from this payment or have a pre-payment certificate, then you will not be charged. Just tell us when you register why you’re entitled to free NHS prescription medication.
Once registered, you can simply place an order for your prescription or repeat prescription via our website or via our Royal Mail Health app which can be downloaded from your usual App store.
We can also send you reminders about ordering your prescriptions so you never run out.
No. When you place an order for a prescription, the pharmacists at Pharmacy2U will automatically contact your GP to approve your order.
The Customer Care Team at Pharmacy2U are available 6 days a week and you can manage your prescription needs through the website or App 24/7 without having to contact them.
Once you’ve registered, you’ll be able to see all your previous orders, quickly order repeat prescriptions as well as receiving handy reminders when your next prescription is due so that you never run out.
Your medication can be delivered to any address in the UK - wherever suits you best. This can be your home, work, to a neighbour or member of your family.
Delivery is free and you can choose to have it posted through your letterbox, sent via our Signed For service or you can choose a Safeplace for your postie to leave your parcel if you're not home. In some cases, a signature will be needed, for example if you are ordering controlled drugs or refrigerated items.
You can view or change your delivery settings in your account at any time.
We recommend ordering your repeat prescription at least 5 working days before you need it. This gives your GP enough time to approve it and for us to deliver it to you.
Most prescriptions we deliver are small enough to fit through your letterbox so will be delivered by your postie alongside your regular post. Alternative delivery arrangements can be made for any larger items. All delivery is free of charge.
Yes it is. Delivery for our NHS repeat prescription service is always free of charge.
