Your price for Relay depends on the number, size, location and volume of items you are sending. The service speed and security measures you need will also affect the price.

  • We can only collect and deliver to a fixed database of addresses, as listed in the contract.
  • We don’t carry goods of high intrinsic value, like cash.
  • We don’t carry hazardous goods.

There are also weight restrictions. Within the Relay network, the maximum weight limit is 30kg per item. We may be able to carry heavier weight items, including pallets, under a special agreement. Please ask.

Possibly. We need to have fixed route times that are consistent for every customer. Express network solutions could also be an option instead. Contact us to find out more.

We can deliver to sales agents and home workers provided that either a signatory is present, or there are secure arrangements to leave items on a daily basis.

Having a smaller number of locations is not an issue if you are sending substantial volumes regularly. Contact us to discuss your needs.

Royal Mail Relay® operates through a dedicated network of ten regional processing hubs, supported by seven discrete local collection and delivery depots. We have access to the largest and best-placed collection network in the UK, with 1,400 locations available.
