Using our brand

The Royal Mail brand, along with its wide collection of assets, represents a powerful and trusted image.

We are both proud and protective of it. Use of our intellectual property is subject to our approval.

As one of the most recognisable brands in the UK, we receive many requests from various businesses and organisations to hyperlink to our website, reproduce our stamps or use our logo.

Broadcast, production and press

If you would like to use our Intellectual Property for broadcast, production or press purposes, i.e. in TV programmes, commercials, magazines or newspapers, please contact press.office@royalmail.com

Royal Mail logo

Requesting use of our logo is easy, we have a simple four step process to help you get started:

  1. We ask you for your details and reasons for requesting a licence to use our logo
  2. We reply with the logo file that you require
  3. You insert our logo in to your artwork and email it back to us for approval
  4. We approve the artwork and send you back a license agreement

Start our four step process here to request a logo licence. The Royal Mail Brand Team will respond to you within ten working days.

Our logo must appear on relevant website sections such as the delivery, postage, shipping, product or client pages. Please note that we do not generally allow our logo to appear on website home pages.

To ensure our brand values and our visual brand identity are appropriately represented, we ask that approved users of our logo comply with our logo guidelines and standards. Download a copy of our logo guidelinespdf, 7.4 MB.

N.B. Permission to use the Royal Mail logo does not take effect until the Royal Mail Brand Team has signed off final artwork proofs and issued you a licence.
