Local Collect
Click and collect is a convenient way many customers choose to receive their deliveries. With Local Collect we’ll deliver directly to their local Royal Mail Shop, Parcel Locker, Post Office* or Customer Service Point for them to pick up when convenient.
*Customers can collect from 10,500 Post Offices when sending Parcelforce domestic services.
How to offer Local Collect
Local Collect is free if you're using Royal Mail Tracked 24 and 48, Parcelforce expressAM, express24 or express48 or Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed*.
Start by contacting your Royal Mail Account Manager or Customer Services on 03457 950 950** to set up the Local Collect® service.
We provide you with the following:
Access to a database of Collect+ Point, Parcel Lockers, Post Office® or Royal Mail Customer Service Point address details including opening and closing times via the API (Application Programme Interface) or a Daily Flat file (Parcelforce customers will have the Post Office® option only).
Label design specifications for using Local Collect® with Royal Mail Tracked® , Parcelforce Services and Special Delivery Guaranteed services.
All you have to do is take the order as normal from your customer, but with the addition of handy delivery options – their home address or a Local Collect® location that they specify.

Safeplace
Let customers choose where they can have their deliveries left if they’re not in. With Safeplace they can nominate their secure place or a neighbour to receive their mail.
