Damon Parkin
Damon has been writing about Special Stamps for the Royal Mail Stamps and Collectible team for the past decade, covering more than 120 issues.
He's a writer and journalist who’s been collecting stamps since his godmother sent him a First Day Cover as an eighth birthday gift in 1979. Growing up abroad, he continued to pursue his passion, building First Day Cover collections from Hong Kong, Germany and the US, among other territories – proving that philately gets you everywhere.
