Letters to Santa

It’s nearly Christmas, and we know you want to make sure that your children’s letters to Santa Claus gets to him. We’re asking schools and groups to ensure letters to Santa are posted by the slightly earlier date of Friday 2 December.

Dear Teachers and Group Leaders,

If your children would like to write to Santa this year, please post their letters to:

Santa/Father Christmas
Santa’s Grotto
Reindeerland
XM4 5HQ

The letters should be posted by Friday 2 December. The best way to send your letters to Santa is by putting all the letters into one big outer envelope so that we receive them all together.

Please don’t forget to put stamps on the outer envelope.

Please include a note to tell us the name and address of the school or group and your end of term date - into only one of the outer envelopes even if you wish to send one outer envelope per class. Please also omit your return address on any additional envelopes not containing your school’s name/address/end of term information. Please see herepdf, 1.05 MB for further information on how to pack your letters.

If you’d like a copy of the response slip, you can find one on page 3 of our schools letterpdf, 1.24 MB.

We will send Santa’s replies to you so that you can hand them out to the children.

Any letters posted individually to Santa with a school return address will receive individual replies sent back to the school. Where more than one letter is enclosed, the envelopes from Santa will not carry individual names.

If you have any questions, please email santamail@royalmail.com

We hope you have a wonderful time with the children in the lead up to Christmas and that they enjoy writing their letters!

Merry Christmas to you all!

from Santa

This year the lovely folk at Hallmark are helping Santa to send his cards in response to children who write letters around the UK.

Happy Christmas to everyone!
