Royal Mail Health is a new division working in partnership with healthcare companies to broaden access to healthcare for everyone in the UK. We help people quickly and conveniently access the healthcare and medical products they need, through a number of different services – and deliver them direct to their door.

Royal Mail Health builds on the work we already do - delivering the majority of prescriptions ordered online and have been a key delivery partner for the Government’s COVID-19 testing programme since the start of the pandemic.

Royal Mail Health supports online pharmacies, community chemists and high street chains by delivering healthcare and medical products using the UK’s most extensive and trusted delivery network – our posties, as well as a number of other specific networks that cater to the most sensitive medical needs of patients, both at home and in care.

Local pharmacy patient support 

Royal Mail Health is working with Charac, an NHS-integrated, one-stop platform for independent community pharmacies. Through Charac, local pharmacies will be able to provide an online ordering system for their patient’s healthcare products as well as enabling a fully digitised way to book follow-up consultations and services in the local pharmacy.
