Royal Mail Group Ltd (“RMG” or the “Promoter”) is running a competition which offers you the opportunity to win a £1000 credit on your Online Business Account (the “Competition”). Please read the below Terms and Conditions which will apply to the Competition. In entering the Competition you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- The Competition is open to UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 and over, who have an existing and active Online Business Account with Royal Mail, where a sales order has been raised within the last 90 days and the account has no overdue invoices.
- The Competition is not open to employees or agencies of RMG, their group companies or employees or agencies family members, or anyone else RMG deems to be professionally connected to the Competition.
- To be entered into the Competition, you must do the following:
Follow the Royal Mail Business Instagram page and reply with the correct answer to: ‘On average, how many parcels do you need to send each week to qualify for an Online Business Account? on the Competition Instagram post on RMG's Business Instagram Page: https://instagram.com/royalmailbusiness between 13:00 on 14th July 2022 and 23:59 on 28th July 2022 (the “Competition Period”). - Entries received outside of the Competition Period will not be accepted and you will not be entered into the Competition.
- Only one entry per business. Entries on behalf of another person or business will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. No purchase is necessary.
- RMG accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, illegible, damaged, incorrect, incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt of the entry by RMG.
- There will be one winner from all valid entries correctly submitted ("Eligible Entries"). The winning entry will be chosen at random by a randomised computer process from all valid entries which are received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions within the Competition Period.
- The winner will be the first valid entry drawn. The winner will be the owner of the Instagram account from which the selected entry is sent.
- There will be one winner. The winner will receive £1000 credit to spend on Royal Mail business services only through their Online Business Account (the "Prize"). RMG accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize that are not expressly included in the Prize.
- The winner will be notified by RMG by way of a private message on Instagram after 10:00 on 29th July 2022 and will be given details of how to claim their Prize. The winner will have 14 days from the date of being notified to accept their Prize and to provide the account details the prize should be applied to. Entrants should check Instagram private messages carefully to ensure that you do not miss a message from RMG.
- If the winner fails to accept the Prize and/or provide required information (See paragraph 1) within the timeline set out in paragraph 10, then the winner shall forfeit their Prize and RMG shall be entitled to award the Prize to an alternative winner in accordance with the process described in paragraph 7 above.
- The Prize will be issued in the form of £1000 credit to the winners Royal Mail Online Business Account within 56 days of the winner confirming their acceptance of the Prize.
- The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize.
- The Promoter shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at royalmail.com/privacy-policy and in accordance with data protection legislation. Unless further consents are obtained and subject to paragraphs 16 and 17, personal details obtained in the process of the Competition will only be used for the purposes of administering the Competition and destroyed thereafter.
- Subject to paragraph 17 and without prejudice to the Promoter's data protection obligations under relevant law, the Promoter shall make available upon receipt of a written request to win@royalmail.com the winner's surname and county (or city) and the winning entry.
- Entrants to the Competition can, at any time (including at or before the time of entry) object to all or some of their personal information being made available in accordance with paragraph 16 by writing to: Social Media Team, Royal Mail Dearne House, Cortonwood Drive, Brampton, Barnsley, S73 0UF, However, the Promoter shall provide the information set out in paragraph 16 to competent authorities upon request from such competent authorities (including the Advertising Standards Authority).
- Entries that contain any offensive or inappropriate content including (but not limited to):
a) obscene, indecent or pornographic content;
b) content liable to incite racial hatred or acts of terrorism;
c) violent content;
d) excessive profanity;
e) content that is harmful to minors in any way; or
f) content that is otherwise harmful, unlawful or illegal,
will be deleted, removed from the Promoter's Instagram post and the individual's entry disqualified at the Promoter's sole discretion. - The Competition and the Promoter's Instagram page(s) are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering into the Competition, entrants release Instagram from all and any claims and liabilities which might arise in relation to the Competition.
- The entrant is reminded to get the owner's permission before using a computer, device and/or internet-access which is not owned or paid for by the entrant to enter the Competition. The Promoter will not be liable for any internet or mobile connection or other charges incurred in entering the Competition.
- RMG reserves the right at any time to void, modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of RMG in all matters relating to the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- RMG shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this Competition where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, mechanical issues, diversion of aircraft or other operational incidents, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
- RMG accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the Prize. RMG further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of RMG under law for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.
- The Competition and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and entrants to the Competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
