Incentives for Advertising Mail

Scale up. Spend less.

Grow your reach and reduce costs with Royal Mail’s Advertising Growth Incentive. If you post over 150,000 Letters or 75,000 Large Letters above your historic volumes, you can earn postage credits that lower your campaign spend.

This scheme helps brands scale direct mail campaigns affordably and effectively.

Royal Mail’s Test and Innovate Incentive rewards brands exploring new mail formats or campaign ideas. Whether you're targeting new audiences, trying fresh creative or different formats, you can earn postage credits by posting at least 4,000 items.

New to mail?

If your brand hasn’t used mail advertising in the past 24 months, Royal Mail’s First Time User Incentive helps you launch with confidence. Post at least 4,000 advertising mail items or 10,000 partially addressed mail items to UK addresses and earn postage credits.

It’s a simple, cost-effective way to test mail’s impact. Credits can be applied to future campaigns, helping you scale while saving.

Incentives for Business Mail

Try something new. Get rewarded.

Royal Mail’s Business Mail Test and Innovate Incentive rewards brands exploring new mail campaign ideas or new targeting strategies.  Test addressed letters or large letter formats sent using Business Mail services.

We will award postage credits to support a test if it’s a one-off campaign, or a series of mailings over 6 months. Post a minimum of 4,000 test items to qualify.  If the activity is successful the credit can be extended for a further 6 months.

Publishing mail incentive

Send more magazines. Get more back.

Royal Mail’s Publishing Volume Commitment rewards publishing brands who grow publishing mail volumes. Mail a minimum of 250,000 items and at least 95% of the volume mailed the year before gain access to a postage credit to re-invest.

Available for large letter format items that use Magazine Subscription mail.  A publishing house can combine all the titles in their portfolio to achieve a bigger target.  The launch of any new title whilst the incentive is running can be added to the same incentive in that year and be eligible for credits.
