Things to remember
Please read the terms and conditions carefully when you complete the application form.
We won’t hold mail for any organisation whose name is not specified on the application form. If not specified, these items will be delivered as normal. If you need to list more organisation names, use a separate sheet. Please ensure that you tell us the name of your organisation and include any variations or abbreviations.
Tell us when you want the service to end. We will deliver your mail on the first available delivery day after your requested end date.

I’m re-opening earlier than I originally expected, can I go into my local Delivery Office and pick up my mail?
No, our Delivery Office personnel are not allowed to hand over your Business Keepsafe™ mail. This is for the security and protection of your mail. To receive your mail you will need to cancel your Business Keepsafe™. To do this call us on 03457 777 888 or, textphone 0345 600 0606. If you're calling from outside the UK, call +44 1782 668 007. Alternatively, please let our Business Keepsafe™ team know in writing.

Is there anything you won’t keep for me?
We do not control mail delivered to your door by other delivery services or couriers, including Parcelforce. In some areas, this may include business mail items such as bank statements, council tax statements and utility bills, which are delivered to your door by postal service providers other than Royal Mail.
If we can see an item contains something perishable, e.g., flowers, we will either return it to the sender immediately or dispose of it at our discretion. For more details see our Business Keepsafe™ terms and conditions.Back to top
What if I receive mail that needs a signature while I’m closed?
We will try to obtain a signature from you when you re-open and we deliver the mail we’ve been holding for you. If you’re not available when we deliver we will leave a ‘Something For You’ card as we normally do. However, if you’re closed for more than 18 days after the signature was due, we will need to return these items to the sender. You will know you were due an item that required a signature as we will place a ‘Something For You’ card with your mail when you reopen. So please check the date on the ‘Something For You’ card. If it is over 18 days old we will have returned the item to the sender.Back to top
I’ve got a Redirection in place, how is this affected?
If your Business Keepsafe™ is for your new address then all your redirected mail from your old address will be held along with mail addressed to your new address at your new local Delivery Office.Back to top
I run my business from home, which service do I apply for Business or Personal?
To hold your business mail you need to apply for a Business Keepsafe™ we’ll include the holding of your personal mail in with the fee. This includes sole traders. The fee will also cover other members of the household who want their mail held.Back to top
