From 1 July 2026, a new €3 customs duty will apply to business to consumer items valued at €150 or less entering the EU.
While the duty is new, the trusted Royal Mail service many businesses rely on isn’t.
You’ll still get the same choice of delivery term solutions, including Postal Delivered Duties Paid (PDDP),
Delivered Taxes Paid (DTP) or the Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme, and the same reliable international services, backed by the support you know and rely on to keep trading with confidence across Europe.

IOSS Solutions
Register yourself
Once registered, simply input your IOSS number into the correct field on your chosen Royal Mail shipping platform.
Sell through a marketplace
Marketplaces will likely have their own IOSS number, just include this in the pre-advice on your chosen shipping platform.
Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP)
PDDP enables you to collect VAT from your customer at checkout, so you can pay EU tax authorities via Royal Mail.
Delivered Taxes Paid (DTP) solution
Available with our Tracked Priority service to 26 European destinations, for a seamless recipient experience.
