The miniature sheet was designed by Tayburn and comprises of two new Robert Burns stamps and four Scottish definitive stamps set within a border showing an engraving of Burns’s birthplace in Alloway.

The reason? Burns Night of course, but expect some special festivities this year as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of one of the world’s greatest poets.
We’ve issued a special Miniature Sheet featuring two new 1st Class stamps together with the full range of Scottish definitives. Robert Burns – Scotland’s national bard was born 250 years ago into a farming family in Alloway in Ayrshire in 1759.
