Mailsort® 1400

If you send large volumes of non-machineable mail in the UK, Mailsort® 1400 could save you money. By sorting your own mail and making sure at least 90% of the addresses have the correct postcode, you can save up to 30%.

Tray Trial

The tray trial has been re-opened.

We wish to thank all the customers that have taken part in this trial so far, you have been wonderful. However due to the interest and demand to include Large Letter format in the trial we are looking for more customers to take part and make a difference.

Royal Mail has recognised a desire from a number of customers to increase the volume of mail presented in trays. To this end Royal Mail has undertaken a design project to develop revised processes and product specifications which will remove some of the barriers to presenting mail in trays. This trial will aid that project to determine if extending the ability to use trays is appropriate to Mailsort 1400 and Mailsort 700 for mailings of 150k items and over.
