I want to redirect my mail


With our Redirection service, you can make sure all your mail is sent to your new home.

Situation

  • You’re moving home permanently or temporarily, within the UK or overseas, and you don’t want to miss out on any mail that might still be sent to your old address. 
  • With our Redirection service, we’ll send mail addressed to you at your old home to your new home, for a small fee. 
  • You can set up a Redirection for one, three, six or 12 months and renew it for up to a total time frame two years.
  • The Home Office recommends Redirection as a way of ensuring mail arrives safely and to help prevent any issues with identity theft / fraud.
 

Solution

  1. You can set up a redirection order online quickly and securely. Make sure you have a pen and paper handy to write down your reference numbers. 
  2. Or, set up a Redirection in person at your local Post Office®. You’ll need two forms of identification.
  3. You can pay by debit or credit card. Please note that each surname requires a separate payment.
  4. We’ll send all mail posted to you at your old address straight to your new address. 
  5. If you need a Redirection urgently, you can use our Redirection Fasttrack service. Call 08457 740740. Extra charges apply to this service.
