SmartStamp®

Make your mail smarter and more professional-looking with SmartStamp® software.

How it works

Using SmartStamp® to print postage is simple:
  1. Log in to your SmartStamp® account
  2. Select label or envelope size
  3. Select correct postage amount
  4. Add personalised elements (e.g. address or logo)
  5. When you’re ready, print your postage

How it works

Convenience

All you need is a PC and a printer. SmartStamp® is an online service that lets you print any amount of postage onto an envelope – so you’ll never have to worry about buying stamps or using a franking machine. You can print a single envelope, label or sheets of labels from your PC. You can print as many as you like, and it can be used with any of the following:

  • Special Delivery™ Next Day
  • Special Delivery™ 9.00am
  • First Class
  • Second Class
  • Standard Parcels
  • Airmail
  • Airsure®
  • International Signed For™
  • Surface Mail
  • Recorded Signed For™

SmartStamp® envelopes get noticed and remembered. In addition to printing postage, you can personalise your envelope with your company logo or other message – or you can use an icon (to show that an item is urgent or fragile, for example).

Keep track of costs

Anyone in your company can use SmartStamp® directly from their own PC (they can even use the same account). You can keep track of funds wherever you are by accessing detailed online statements and top up your account whenever you like using a credit or debit card, or by direct debit.

Easy to use

Using SmartStamp® you can choose from three main printing options:

Single Print – for printing postage onto single envelopes or labels, or printing a single sheet of labels.

Mail Merge – for printing postage and multiple addresses imported into SmartStamp® from an address book (including Microsoft Address Book, Outlook or Excel), either onto envelopes or labels.

Bulk Print – for printing more than one envelope or sheet of labels, without addresses.
You can also store up to five return addresses which can be printed onto the envelope automatically, saving you the effort of doing it manually each time.

Please note that your mail must be posted within 24 hours of printing (a ‘post by’ date is printed on the envelope to remind you). If there is a Bank Holiday, this will default to the following day (48hrs or more).

Before printing real postage, you can trial print as many envelopes or labels as you wish. However, you can also apply for a refund if you don’t use your postage in time, or make a mistake when printing.

Business Collection service

SmartStamp® now also gives you the freedom to arrange an ad-hoc Business Collection via your SmartStamp® account, simply by paying the appropriate fee.

If you choose an ad-hoc Business Collection service, we will collect your letters, small packages and international post, including Recorded Signed For™ and Special Delivery™ items – all from a designated collection point in your workplace, at a pre-arranged time, as and when you need us to.

Once you have set up your Business Collection account, just give us 24 hours notice each time you need the Business Collection to be made. For urgent same day mailings, you’ll need to let us know before 12.00 noon on the day.
