New independent research (conducted by Quadrangle) commissioned by Royal Mail will give key insight into the important role hardcopy magazines play in business today. As publishers develop their on-line strategy, the research shows how readers engage with hard copy in a way they don’t with online:


80% of readers find them interesting
On average they are passed on to 5 colleagues
71% said they were essential to optimise job performance
More than 4 out of 5 people look through the entire magazine


And that’s not just for the time being – 92% of those surveyed said that they couldn’t imagine a time without hardcopy magazines.This research should help inform decision-making as to the role online plays in publishers' business – now and in the future. Read the full report here.
