Introduction
If you send large volumes of mail overseas, we can save you time and money, as the war gaming business 'Foundry' found out recently. Foundry was sending at least 100 packets a day to a wide range of countries in Europe, the USA, South America and Africa. When the company went online in 1991, they saw a dramatic growth in trade and were in even greater need of a fast and reliable overseas mailing service. They looked to Royal Mail for the answer.
Hitting the target
Royal Mail's International Zone Sort™ service was especially useful as Foundry realised that if they spent more than £2,500 a year on international mail, they could make significant savings on standard postal rates. Just by sorting some of the mail themselves; for example separating European mail from the rest of its international mail, they could start saving. And if they sorted mail into letters, flats and packets as well, they'd save even more. However, if they found they didn't have time to prepare and sort their own mail, Royal Mail™ could do it for them.
Ultimately, Foundry chose the service because of "speed and reliability", and declared that their successful growth wouldn't have been possible without Royal Mail:
"We can turn round customer orders very fast, but without a good international postal service it would be pointless."
If you're interested in value for money, high quality ways to distribute your international business mail, we've got the answer.
