Dedicated Area Election Managers
Each electoral region in the UK has a dedicated Area Election Manager who will support you in ensuring that your mailing campaign runs as smoothly as possible. One of their key activities is agreeing a date with you regarding the delivery of your campaign literature into Royal Mail.
Royal Mail “drop off” points
Candidates are responsible for ensuring that their campaign literature is presented to the correct Royal Mail office for onward delivery.
Delivery Points
You can also see how many delivery points for your mailing. This will allow you to understand the amount of printed election material you will need to produce in order to ensure you reach all potential voters in your area. It is essential to discuss this with your Area Election Manager. This information will be provided nearer the election time.
Please discuss handover and mailing quantities with your named Area Election Manager.
Artwork Vetting
Royal Mail needs to check candidates’ campaign material to ensure that it meets with legislative guidelines. Please send us your artwork in Word or PDF format to artwork.vetting@royalmail.com
You can also contact the Artwork Vetting Team on 0845 607 6424 if you have any further questions regarding artwork.
