Useful if you’re carrying out statistical research and targeting households, Delivery Point Counts (DPC) can also help with the creation of sales areas and improve leaflet distribution.

This service gives you exact letterbox totals – including both business and residential addresses. Depending on your needs, you can choose Delivery Point Counts to be organised by postcode area (PO), postcode district (PO1) or postcode sector (PO1 1), all are updated monthly.

• Your choice of results for either postcode area (PO) or a combined postcode district (PO1) and postcode sector (PO1 1) report
• Both residential and business addresses are covered
• Data is updated every month
• Backdated count totals are available
• All 124 postcode areas are covered
• Simple and easy to use CSV file

While DPC is a standalone service, you can also integrate the results into other software, making the data easy to use. There are 2 different levels of reports: at postcode AREA level or a combined postcode DISTRICT/SECTOR report.  Below is more information on each one.

Postcode area level DPC report

For each selected postcode area (e.g. PO, EH3) this report shows:

• The number of ‘Large Users’ (including large users of the post as well as PO Box holders).
• 124 full UK area totals only

You will receive this as an ASCII CSV (Comma Separated Value) file via email. The CSV file can be opened with a variety of programs including Microsoft Excel© and Notepad.

Combined postcode district/sector level DPC report

For each selected postcode district (e.g. PO1, EH3) and postcode sector (eg. PO1 1, EH3 5) the data is listed under the following categories:

• ‘Small User’ organisations
• Flats and sub Buildings
• Multi-Occupied properties
• 'Small User’ residential
• ‘Large Users’

You will receive this as an ASCII CSV (Comma Separated Value) file via email. The CSV file can be opened with a variety of programs including Microsoft Excel© and Notepad.

• DPC Area Report costs £10.00 + VAT. Covers the whole of the UK.
• Combined postcode district/sector DPC Report cost £12.00 + VAT per Postcode area. There are 124 of these in the UK.
• A complete set of the 124 combined postcode district/sector DPC Reports for the UK costs £1000.00 + VAT.  *

All prices attract VAT at the prevailing rate.

There is no licence required for our DPC Products.
