Fast delivery
We aim to deliver to European destinations within three working days and worldwide within five.
Compensation cover
We provide compensation cover for the value of your item up to the value of 100 First Class stamps in the event of loss or damage - ask for a Certificate of Posting at the Post Office®. Additional compensation cover up to £500 is available for more valuable packages via our Airsure® or International Signed For™ services.

Sending Airmail
Send Airmail from over 14,000 Post Office® branches and from Postboxes®, using stamps.
Letters and postcards
You can send postcards and Letter items up to 2kg in weight via the Airmail Letter service. A Letter item is anything that contains personalised correspondence.
Small packets
This Airmail service offers you a cheaper rate if you’re sending gifts, goods or commercial samples. When using this service, please write ‘SMALL PACKET’ in the top left corner on the front of the item you are sending. You can also include a letter relating to the contents, but no other personalised correspondence.
Printed Papers
With the Airmail Printed Papers service, you can get a cheaper rate when sending books, magazines, newspapers, leaflets and pamphlets abroad. You can include a letter relating to the contents, but no other personalised correspondence. When using this service, please write ‘PRINTED PAPERS’ in the top left corner on the front of the item you are sending.
Packing and posting
When you’re sending items through the post, it’s important to wrap and pack them well to ensure they arrive securely and safely. See our wrapping guidelines.
