No, our Delivery Office personnel are not allowed to hand over your Keepsafe mail. This is for the security and protection of your mail. To receive your mail you will need to cancel your Keepsafe.

What if I receive mail that needs a signature while I’m away?
If you’re not home when we deliver, we’ll place a ‘Something for you’ card with your mail to let you know we need a signature. However, if you’re away for more than eighteen days after the signature was due, we will need to return the item to the sender. Is there anything you won’t keep for me?
We do not control mail delivered to your door by other delivery services or couriers, including Parcelforce. In some areas, this may include business mail items such as bank statements, council tax statements and utility bills, which are delivered to your door by postal service providers other than Royal Mail.

I’ve got a Redirection in place, how is this affected?
If your Keepsafe™ is for your new address then all your redirected mail from your old address will be held along with mail addressed to your new address at your new local delivery office.Back to top

To hold your business mail you need to apply for a Business Keepsafe™. We will include the holding of your personal mail in with the fee. This includes sole traders. We will also include other members of the household wishing to hold their mail too.Back to top
