Use Postzon™ data to link Postcodes to specific geographic and administrative data.

We update Postzon™ every month. You can choose to receive updates on a monthly, quarterly or six monthly basis. For each UK Postcode you can access information on:

• Grid reference data (100m detail only)
• NHS Health Authority codes
• Local Authority Ward information

Postzon™ is available in two different file formats; CD-ROM and Internet Download.

You can test samples of this product, together with many other raw data datasets, on our interactive CD-Rom, use it to decide what is the right kind of data for you. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) will be implementing a new coding and naming policy in early 2011. This policy has already been separately and independently implemented since 2004 by Scotland for all new or amended statistical geographies. This change will impact the file structure of the administrative data held on Postzon™and as a result impact the way in which your own system manages the data.
