By allowing us to pre-sort your mail before we deliver it, you can simplify your inward mail operation, saving precious time and space - and speed up your business workflow. You can choose to have the mail sorted the way you want: whether that’s by department or by size or format. We deliver in separate bags or bundles that are readily identifiable by you – and easy to send on their way once they arrive.
How do we do it?
We use our state-of-the-art sortation equipment to sort your mail at source. Because we're able to incorporate Pre-sorted Delivery services into our own automated mail processing operations, we are perfectly positioned to handle your mail and to synchronise with the way you operate.
Who is it for?
Pre-sorted Delivery is available to customers receiving more than 6,000 items a day; and those who want mail sorted to more than 25 different selections, or, if the mail includes packets.
In addition, if we are able to process all of your mail mechanically, by working with you to code it as it comes in, we can also help to reduce overall costs. That could mean savings for you.
Pre-sorted Delivery is available for a minimum of 12 months. This can be split into 12 equal monthly payments, based on an agreed average daily volume.
To use Pre-sorted Delivery you'll need to have an account with Royal Mail. You’ll be a customer already spending over £5,000 a year.

What is the difference between Pre-Sorted Delivery and Selectapost™?
Selectapost™ is for lower volumes (up to 6,000 items a day) and where fewer than 25 selections are required. Pre-Sorted Delivery is for volumes higher than 6,000 items a day and can also sort mail mechanically as well as pre-sort packetsBack to top
Can I have my Special Delivery™ items pre-sorted?
Yes, you can, but the costs for this will need to be calculated separately. That’s because these would normally be classed as priority packets, the pre-sortation prices for which aren’t included within the cost calculator.Back to top
